Phil Buehler has photographed ruins for over 40 years. This time, he focuses on Wayne Hills Mall in New Jersey, built 1973 and demolished 2019. Buehler was a high school senior year in 1973, and remembers the mall as a place to hang out as a suburban teen. An exhibit of his photos at Front Room Gallery in NYC includes the top 100 albums of 1973, which can be played on a period turntable.
