Robert Beck is known for his plein air, or documentary paintings, done on-the-spot in a matter of hours. He has painted scenes Out West, in Senegal, Africa, and, for over 10 years, in Jonesport, Maine. His primary focus has been on scenes from his own life, especially the 30 years he's spent in the artist community of the New Hope/Lambertville area. He captures life as he sees it.
