“Ride the Cyclone” is the first production directed by McCarter Theatre’s new artistic director Sarah Rasmussen. The musical tells the story of six teens whose lives are cut short on a roller coaster ride. In a nod to Thornton Wilder's "Our Town," each tells a story about their life, with a mechanical fortune teller playing the role of Wilder's Stage Manager.
