I love this.
JAY: Welcome to house number three, our dream home.
RICARDO: The yard is immense.
The, I love the stonework here.
JAY: Yeah, it's a half-acre lot here too, along with the custom build home.
RICARDO: Oh, wow.
So can you tell us a little bit about what else is in the neighborhood?
JAY: This home is adjacent to Rutherford community and you have the community pool and the trails.
We also have the Metro and Pentagon bus right out here as well too, so easy for commuting from this location.
We're also by the Mosaic District.
Great area to just spend an afternoon to get a bite to eat or do a little bit of shopping.
JEN: Jay, what can we expect to see inside this beautiful home?
JAY: So the first thing you're going to fall in love with is the gourmet kitchen.
RICARDO: Hey, speaking your language.
JAY: And this six-bedroom home has nearly a bathroom for every single bedroom in there and I know you're gonna love it.
So let's meet back here for the game.
And Ricardo, remember this is your last chance.
I'm rooting for you, so take in everything in here so that you can have that right number.
JEN: Yes!
RICARDO: Okay, I can do this.
JAY: Yes, All right, enjoy.
JEN: See ya.
RICARDO: Thanks, Jay.
JEN: Whoa.
RICARDO: Wow.
JEN: Definitely new house smell.
RICARDO: Definitely got that new house smell, I love it.
JEN: There's a lot of different places to go right off the bat.
So... RICARDO: Yeah, which way do you want to?
JEN: I kind of like this room.
It's bright.
RICARDO: This is great.
Lovely windows.
I like it.
JEN: With all the natural light in here, I think this could be like a cozy, cute little library.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Let's check out this dining room.
RICARDO: Wow.
This dark hardwood floor that runs all throughout is really nice.
JEN: Yeah.
I also like this accent wall.
Well, we should move on to this living room.
RICARDO: Yeah, we gotta check that out.
JEN: Okay.
RICARDO: Wow, look at that.
Look at these stairs.
JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: This is nice too.
Wait, wait, Jen, what is this room?
Wow.
JEN: Oh, it's one of the bedroom-bathroom combos that Jay told us about.
RICARDO: Yeah, it's got a stand-up shower.
It's got great tile work.
JEN: Oh, yeah, I like the honeycomb.
RICARDO: This is luxurious.
JEN: Let's take a look at this bedroom.
RICARDO: Look at this.
This is a great size bedroom.
JEN: Yeah, really.
RICARDO: These windows offer a great view of that half-acre yard.
JEN: I appreciate it being on the first level, so no stairs.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm.
JEN: This is great.
All right, maybe this time we'll make it to the living room.
RICARDO: Yeah, let's try not to get distracted.
JEN: Okay.
Whoa!
RICARDO: Oh, wow.
I love the stonework.
These windows are magnificent.
JEN: I really like the style of the ceiling fan.
Kind of looks nautical, almost like they took the steering wheel off a ship and turned it into a fan.
I kind of like the vibe.
RICARDO: Yeah, that is neat.
This whole room is just so comfortable.
JEN: Well, perhaps you can stay here and get comfortable because I cannot wait another minute to get into that kitchen.
RICARDO: I can come with you.
JEN: Hello, beautiful.
RICARDO: This quartz countertop is gorgeous.
And the veining through here has got a gold tone, which picks up the backsplash.
JEN: It really warms the room.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JEN: Also, it's a great contrast with this dark navy.
And then the six-burner stove, double oven, and a griddle.
RICARDO: That is massive.
JEN: I'm super inspired in this kitchen.
RICARDO: Are you?
JEN: Yeah, and I really love these pendant kind of jellyfish light fixtures.
RICARDO: That's beautiful.
JEN: Let's head downstairs.
Wow, this runs the whole length of the house.
RICARDO: And you also have access to the yard down here.
JEN: I see a water hookup.
You could have a nice little kitchenette in this space.
RICARDO: Yeah.
Let's make our ascent.
JEN: Up, up, up we go.
What a great landing up here.
RICARDO: It is.
This is definitely a showpiece.
JEN: Wow.
RICARDO: It really sort of draws your eye into the stairwell.
It's just like looking into an Escher.
JEN: Yeah, you're right.
All right.
Nice size bedroom.
Lots of natural light in here as well.
Another bathroom.
RICARDO: Wait.
JEN: What?
RICARDO: It's a Jack and Jill.
JEN: So you have a private vanity and then a shared bathroom between the two rooms and then another private vanity.
RICARDO: Mm-hmm, you can close the door off and have privacy.
JEN: Yep, here we are, another bedroom.
Well, I cannot wait to check out this primary.
You ready?
RICARDO: Yeah, let's go.
JEN: All right.
RICARDO: Double door entry, that's nice.
JEN: Whoa!
RICARDO: Oh, wow.
Check out the ceiling.
JEN: Yeah, and you have enough room for a sitting area or dressers.
RICARDO: And the accent wall here is similar to downstairs.
JEN: Yeah, it carried over well.
And then these windows are just so beautiful.
RICARDO: I guess there's another bathroom here.
JEN: All right, let's see.
RICARDO: No, this is more.
This is a walk-in closet.
JEN: Wow, that really is a walk-in closet.
RICARDO: That's enormous.
JEN: Wow, and then we have another one right here.
RICARDO: Another walk-in closet.
JEN: What's the, oh!
RICARDO: I can't even... JEN: I just need a minute.
RICARDO: This is the most space I've seen in a bathroom ever.
I love the dual vanities, I love dual shower heads.
The tile work is pristine.
And this soaking tub, clearly the centerpiece of the room.
JEN: I have no words.
RICARDO: Well, do you have a number?
JEN: Yeah, this is going to be tough.
Uh, let's go find Jay.
RICARDO: All right.
JEN: All right.
Hey, Jay.
RICARDO: Hey, Jay.
JAY: Welcome back.
What did you think of the house?
JEN: Walking through the front door, there's so much to look at... JAY: Mm-hmm.
JEN: That we actually struggled with where to start!
But then once we were through the house, we thought that the layout was very thoughtful.
RICARDO: And I know Jen is super excited about this kitchen.
JAY: Well, I think the kitchen really lives up to the dream house that you would want.
JEN: Yes, and given the gold fixtures and the gold veining in the quartz, it's very warm.
RICARDO: Yeah.
JAY: The six-burner stove, the griddle, so you could be making the eggs while the pancakes are being made.
I can even smell it in here.
JEN: Absolutely.
RICARDO: And you also have this open concept.
You can look right from this kitchen into this living area.
JEN: With all of the stone all the way up to the ceiling.
JAY: That rough-cut quartz is just a great touch on that fireplace.
RICARDO: And the upstairs definitely didn't disappoint.
JAY: So this home is six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, 6,000 square feet, and completed in 2024.
So Ricardo, are you ready with your number?
RICARDO: I am not but I'm gonna give you one anyway.
(Jen laughs).
JAY: Okay.
RICARDO: I'm going to guess 1,793,000.
JEN: Okay.
I'm going to guess 1,600,000.
JAY: Okay, and the correct list price is $1,798,000.
RICARDO: Oh!
JEN: Yeah!
JAY: Great job, you got really close.
RICARDO: Well, I was worried, too.
I was worried.
JAY: But... RICARDO: The new construction here in Fairfax... JEN: Yeah.
RICARDO: I mean, everything in this house screams class.
Jay, thank you so much for showing us some amazing properties here in Fairfax.
JAY: Thank you, it was so much fun spending the day with you showing homes.
So let's go check out one of my favorite restaurants in the Mosaic District.
It's the Urban Hot Pot.
Ready?
RICARDO: Let's go, I'm starving.
JEN: Yeah, sounds great.
JAY: Yeah.
RICARDO: I am so glad that I finally won the last one.
