From deceptive car sales to shady contractors, consumers in New Jersey lodged more than 18,000 complaints with the state last year. The Division of Consumer Affairs released the data as part of National Consumer Protection Week to spur interest in more consumer protections. Vehicle sales and repairs topped the list of consumer complaints in 2022.
